2009 Easton SV12 Baseball Bat Review

The 2009 Easton SV12
The Easton SV12 Adult Baseball Bat consists of two pieces—an alloy barrel and a carbon fiber composite handle and is one of the most durable products around. Containing Easton’s exclusive V12, 12 component scandium alloy, the bat has earned its reputation for being one of strongest pieces of sports equipment on the market. With its patented Opti-Flex CNT comp handle technology, it is easy to get a flex rating of 65. The Vibration Reduction System (VRS) Rating of 90 keeps it from shaking too much in a player’s hands and thus maximizing his or her overall performance. Easton’s O-Zone, Optimal Hitting Zone Technology, proves that one truly great feature can make or break a player’s game. Increasing the trampoline effect and overall barrel performance, the SV12 combines unique design components and strengthens them at the end cap and taper. CXN Alloy reinforces the barrel and transfers energy where it will be the most effective. Offering many of the same features of other Easton bats, the SV12 packs a punch at a price that the most dedicated players can afford.
Review of the 2009 Easton SV12 Baseball Bat
This bat is great for pinch hitters! It’s lightweight and well balanced. It doesn’t have the hard-to- get-used-to vibrations of other models. The ping is so loud it could be heard on other continents and it has great pop which is something I look for in a bat. An enormous sweet spot makes it easy to knock balls out of the park.
I really like playing with the SV12. I tried several other models but couldn’t get a good enough grip on the bat. The O-Zone really works like a charm to maximize vibrations and give players a solid, balanced feel. Durable and made from some really strong alloy, the Easton SV12 Baseball Bat is built to last.
The only problem that I’ve had with the SV12 is that it almost has too much flex which can make things a little difficult for novice players. It took me awhile to get used to it but now that it’s broken in, I can swing like a champ without any difficulties. I really can’t wait to get some more use of out this amazing bat! My only regret is that I wish I would have bought it sooner!
